    You do not own the OEM key
    its called an OEM key because it is for the OEM: the Original Equipment MANUFACTURER
    Unless you manufacturered your AAO, you don't own the OEM key.

    Like someone said teh OEM key is because it would cost way more to manufacture an individual DVD for every machine and make sure it went with the right machine. Plus, OEMs "think" that people dont want to/are too lazy to/shouldnt enter product keys. Thats how the Vista OEM activation came about and why the restore DVD's have inbuilt serials.

    Anyway this is a bit out of hand, if you want to sell your serial please pm the OP.
