Looking for definitive answer

    Based on usage of both OSs, which gives the most battery life, Windows XP or Windows 7?

    Same. I have used both OS'es on the Acer Aspire One.

    Windows Vista and Windows 7 gives you a little bit more battery life, but nothing significant. I've used all 3 OSes.

    Thanks. Is that with default settings or did you adjust the visual settings to "best performance?"
