Looking for Serial and Com ports

    Hello all,

    I needed to upgrade to XP pro on my Aspire one ZG5 mini notebook and now I do not have drivers for two serial ports and serail com(4) port. I have searched everywhere and finally found this forum. I purchased it from CDW but it did not come with a driver disk. I also searched Acer's site but no luck. Can anyone help? Thanks

    The drivers for the COM (serial)ports is included in every Operating System out there, unless they are of a particular manufacturer (hence not on board) such as the high speed ones. It is not the case of the AAO.

    Thank you. I took out the broadband card....Device manager then became clear. It is the device I am uninstalling and reinstalling the broadband USB. That should do it. Thanks
