I picked this up from Best Buy:
    http://www.targus.com/us/product_detail ... u=TSM097US

It is $30 (plus tax), and it is a great fit for my Aspire One. This is not just a sleeve, but a full case for your netbook and all of its accessories. It claims to hold a 10-inch model just fine, but I find that my 8.9-inch model also fits great.

There is a zippered case on the flap, and I keep my AC cord in there (just the cord from the wall to the power supply). On the front is a pouch with two interior pockets -- one a mesh pocket (holds my power adapter itself), and another solid pocket secured by a velcro flap (holds my mouse, flash drive, USB cable, etc.). There is also space to hold pens, paper, etc., and a back exterior full-width pocket secured by velcro (great for notepads, plane tickets, etc.). Note that there is NOWHERE in here to put an 8-1/2 x 11 paper without folding it.

I am sure that there are better cases out there. However, I needed one quick to go on a trip, and I do not like to buy things like cases without seeing them first, so that I can test for fit.

    I hope this helps somebody!

    **EDIT**
Note that the shoulder strap is NOT REMOVABLE. Well, you could probably remove it with a pair of pliers, but putting it back on would be problematic ;)

    **EDIT**
I have the AOA150, with the 6-cell battery. I also keep a mouse pad next to the computer. Handy to have, and provides extra cushioning.

I have a Targus foldable lap pad I use to set my AA1 on my lap and when it folds in half it is 11 inches wide at the fold but only 8 inches at the rounded end and I was wondering if the back pouch would be large enough for it to fit with it sticking out the top?

The entire bag itself is barely 8x11, so it would be tight. If it did fit, I would expect the bag to be bulging.

Stop by some place that stocks these (I found mine at Best Buy), and try it out.
