I've never used a laptop, and for some strange reason no instruction manual arrived with my acer aspire one laptop, so I have to figure everything on my own. Unfortunately I can't seem to find a way to lower the brightness for the screen, which it's killing my eyes. Any help on how to lower the brightness would be greatly appreciated.

Hold down the "Fn" key then press the left arrow key until you get to the lever you like. It looks like you would be making the display brighter, but for some reason they work back to front... Left for lower & righ for higher ;)
