i tried slitaz linux (http://www.slitaz.org/en/) on a usb pendrive the other day and i was very impressed by its performance on the one. i didn't spend much time using it but long enough to know that it can't be used as the default distro for the one (wireless, screen resolution, etc. weren't working) without significant fiddling with the configs - but the impressive speed and responsiveness made me wonder wether at least part of it isn't due to the simple fact it's using lxde which has been heralded as a very light desktop environment. which brings me to my question... has anyone tried installing lxde on linpus yet? how was it? cheers, pmr to whom might be interested: the lxde packages aren't avaible in linpus' repos but they're available at lxde's homepage (http://lxde.org/) as source tarballs and there's a wiki for several distros including fedora (http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/User:Cwickert/LXDE) which i have as of yet not tried
