    It depends what you want to do. Do you want to install OS X to the flash drive and boot off that or use the flash drive as the installation medium?

    ===

    Just read your other post and it looks like you want to install OS X to the drive. This is really simple, just follow any other guide for installing OS X on the D250 but choose the destination as your thumb drive instead (obviously you'll need to install from a DVD or other USB stick.)

    Probably the easiest way to achieve what you want is to install from an iDeneb 1.4 DVD. This can be done from a desktop if you don't have a USB DVD drive. When the OS X Installer starts you'll need to format your USB stick as HFS+ (Extended, not Extended Journaled) from disk utility. I've written a guide on installing OS X 10.5.8 (Leopard) from iDeneb 1.4 on my blog. The only difference is you'll see your USB drive in Disk Utility as well as the AAO's HDD, so you just need to select that instead.

    Good luck :)

    You still haven't clarified what you actually want to achieve and your not saying what errors you're getting, so it's kinda hard to help you. If you give some more information you wouldn't need to be a DVD drive...
