I recently read about how well Mandriva 2009 works on the aspire one, so i followed some instructions on the forum on how to do it. i plugged the usb stick into the aspire one, booted it, pressed f12, and it came up with a menu which let me select either "live" or "default". when i pressed enter on default, a screen came up showing the mandriva logo, then nothing happened for a while. i presumed it was loading. the screen suddenly went black and said i was in something called busybox. it said press enter to load the module or something, so i did, nothing happened. i rebooted and tried the live function, but i had the same result. can someone please try and tell me if im doing anything wrong? i installed the iso straight from the website so i dont think its an iso problem.

How did you create the usb stick? I had the same problems if I used unetbootin. The only way to get it to work was following lordick's howto.
