Hello. I have a bunch of issues with my Aspire One ZA3 Vista machine. They are likely 100% the rresponsibility of my teenage daughter! LOL!

First, The task manager does not show when right clicking on the taskbar or using shortcuts ctrl-shift-esc.

    How do I enable this?

It keeps shutting down within about 1 minute of starting up. How do I force a shutdown process to stop?

or is there a simple way to recover back to a pre-virus, or whatever is screwed up, state? There are no recovery disks, etc.

Tried to use the Vista recovery partition, but it failed twice. . .so, I'm not sure where to go from here.
