    Hi,

What is the maximum capacity of an SDHC expansion card that the AAOne can use (for the left-hand hard-drive expansion)?

I've heard it can do 32GBs, but I'm not too sure - I just need a confirmation from those who have success with these please :)

    Take care,

    Jason

For clarity, is that confirmations that it can handle 32GB cards, or that it can't handle larger cards?

A quick Google search leads me to believe the 64GB cards are not available yet, so they can't be tested, though I think it is likely they will work too.

SD cards use multiple types of serial addressing to fall back on, including SPI. Any theoretical capacity should work.

Great, thanks for the helpful responses!

I know a look around would have given 32GBs, but some say it does work, others say 16GBs is safer. I just wanted a general opinion before I buy a new card :)

I use a 32Gb card in the left hand slot - works with Linpus and Windows XP.

Thing to watch out for is 32Gb seem to be only class 4 (min 4Meg/sec transfer) whilst if you go for a 16Gb you can get them running 6Meg/sec - might be important if you save data on it that you need quickly (videos,MP3s etc).

    An important consideration there, then.

    Thankyou :)
