I recently purchased the memory foam case made for Aspire one that's sold on Ebay. It's a great case but I'm wondering if there is any chance of the computer getting too hot if being used with case attached. I question whether or not air can flow under the computer adequately enough to prevent the internal components from getting too hot... Thougths ?? Many Thanks !... Cheers...

If you place channels under the Acer and to the sides /front/back.. so in a way, only the corners of the laptops are supported and braced, then that would give you enough cooling. But then you would also need vents in the case itself if you intend to run the system with the case lid closed.

Why don't you test it out yourself? It's not like the laptop will break and blow up if you try it. Use AA1fancontrol tool to monitor your temperature.

If the laptop's cpu temperature can be maintained below 70C, then your laptop will be fine with the case.

AA1fancontrol and A1CTL are a couple of apps already discussed in some posts. I use A1CTL in both my A1s to keep fan under control, as well as managing screen resolutions. Just search in the forum for AA1fancontrol or A1CTL
