Anybody else tried Mepis on the aao, Just trying it dual boot with jaunty unr and I must say so far I am very pleased. I never expected a kde distro to fit this well to the aao, although boot times are a bit slow installation was very easy and most things seem to work out of the box.

I've been a fan of mepis since version 6.5 and i'm very impresed with mepis 8 on the aspire one. The only thing that didn't work for me was the card reader. is that a problem for anyone else?

Same as just about every other distro, left hand reader works fine, right hand if a card is inserted during boot.
