Messenger

    Hi, I cant say that I'm particularly a computer whizz so bear with me if this is something very simple :?

    I purchased an Acer Aspire On with Linpus a few months back and had no problems, until yesterday.
    I was using messenger and searching the net. All of a sudden it just stopped dead. I couldn't do anything except press the home button. So i figured id restart. Did the job... until i tried to start up messenger again and it wont even load.
    I can click on it and the circular blue blobs go round in a circle for a few seconds as if it is going to load..... then they disappear and messenger doesn't load!

    Please help!
