    heeeey ,

    i`m Vapourstreak . i recently bought a blue acer aspire one 8.9'' with a 160gb hdd , 1gb ram , and with xp home .

a few days ago , i installed vista ultimate , and all the drivers via windows update .

i have a few problems with the webcam and mic :

    webcam :
when i was still on xp home , there was an icon in My Computer than can be used to view my webcam , but after i installed vista , it`s not there anymore . the webcam works in msn , but it`s not in My Computer . i tried to install the liteon and suyin drivers , but they didn`t detect the webcam , and kept telling me to plug it in .

    mic :
after i installed vista ultimate , i tried using windows live messenger`s video call . the webcam worked fine , and msn detected a mic . in the setup , msn could detect a mic and it worked , but in an actual video call with my friend , the mic was detected , but when i spoke into it , there was no sound detected . usually with my external mic in my main pc , there will be a little blue bar , rising up and down to my voice , but there wasn`t on my aspire one .

anyone have any idea`s on how to solve these problems ?

    thanks ,
