Microphone recording on flash sites work?

    It seems that my aao only will get sound across a flash site e.g. youtube.com or tokbox when booted in XP. I've tried Mandriva, Ubuntu, and now MacOSX but in all OSes the microphone is showing as available in the flash settings on the page but no sound gets recorded.

    Anyone else seeing any issues with this? I'd love to fix this.

    Does the microphone work at all? For example, if you go to the Sound prefpane, does the level meter register anything for the mic?

    My issue with mine is that the mic recording level is very low (and can't be adjusted) - perhaps your sound input is just too quiet, so it seems like it's not working at all?

    the mic works in audacity although you're right its woefully low. the flash sites get no sound at all....sigh..
