I recently purchased an Acer Aspire One. Nice little machine, no complaints. On initial launching I encountered a Microsoft offer to install the full version of MS Office 2010 for, after reviewing, a fee. As I had another older Acer Aspire with Office Professional Plus on it and running, I decided to opt for transferring the program and files to the new machine. I have run into a hurdle that is called a "Microsoft Activation Service" that will not accept my old 25 digit Program Code. It says it is invalid. Is there a way to remove the Microsoft Activation Service from my machine. My program is fully functional on my laptop, but that machine is getting old and needs a replacement.

If you call Microsoft and explain what you want to do, maybe they will help you.
