I'm just saying, it's illegal and now allowed to be discussed according to the forum rules. Whether anybody follow the rules is not my business.

Normally, I don't support illegal things. That's why you don't see me giving out answers to these threads even though I know the answer.

Well said..honestly I don't have the time myself to mess with illegal stuff that most of the time takes allot of tweaking to make/keep working.

That's only the case for newebie piraters. Alot of more experienced people who know their stuff won't run into any of the troubles like you said. Pirated software are just as good as the real thing. Most experienced people are only pirating the softwares to test out a specific software. If they like it, they'll buy it. Also, those people won't be likely to ask for help since they'd rather to figure out the problem by themselves.

its perfectly legal for him to run the software on his aspire one if he owns an official copy of windows xp, he could perches a oem copy of xp or he could buy and old factory built computer and get the key from that with an app called produkey. as long as the version matches (u cant use a home key on a pro cd) then there is nothing wrong with it microsoft might not like it because it a custom version of windows but in the end they are not guna sue u because your not stealing the program. i myself have downloaded a nlited copy of xp and used my own key and i can pass the genuine windows test on microsofts website.
