Can the Acer Aspire One play MMORPGs?
If so, can it play Latale?
If not Latale, what can it play?
Not looking for WoW. I'm looking for the FREE MMORPGs thanks!

I play several MMORPGs on the D250: World of Warcraft, Aion and a bunch of free ones. In Aion FPS is typically around 7-8 with peak up to 18. Yesterday I created a new char and level her to level 5 on the D250. WoW being older play at higher FPS.

Also play Diablo 1 & 2, Hellfire, technically not MMORPG :)

Cannot compare to my Dell XPS Laptop. but I can play anywhere I want on something that is small and very light.

Yes WoW and Aion are not free ones, but I have notice that most free ones I am playing usually have less system requirement than commercial MMORPG.

[Edit: downloaded La Tale a few days ago, did not had the time to install it. Will let you know how good (or bad) it play.]

I am a gamer, I play games over 60 hours a week. I know games.

I did not listed the free MMORPG I play on the Acer on previous post: Tantra, Perfect Worlds, ESO, Requiem.

You asked if the Acer Aspire can play MMORPGs, I gave you example of ones I play on the netbook. No choice to tell you which ones I play. I cannot tell you that a specific game will work if I have not tried it.

Also some non-MMORPGs require a better machine than a few MMORPGs. So it's good to know what work or not. Then you can compare the system requirement/specs. If a game with high requirement work on the Acer then there is a very good chance that a lower specs game should work too. I checked the specs for La Tale and it should work as it is way below specs for Aion.

It work for me too. However, I did not tried it very long. I created my char., talked to first NPC and moved around a bit. I does not seem very fast. I need to play more and, also, to install it on a better machine so I can compare the speed.

I have to find out what would help the game. Some games required more RAM, other a better CPU and /or GPU. We are stuck with the provided CPU and video card on the Aspire One. I do have 2Gb of RAM for some of other games I play on the Acer.

Not a lot of setting that we can change in-game.
