Mobile Partner

    Please be patient with me here, I'm new to Linux.

    I've bought my mobile internet dongle and searched around to get it to work. My next step is Mobile Partner. I've downloaded the thing from the Acer site, but cannot figure out how to install it. As said, I'm used to Windows XP and everything working with a couple of clicks,

    After 2 hours of stress, I've managed figure out how to install it. The Mobile Partner icon appears under the Connect section, but it won't run. I click on it, and the swirly thing appears round the mouse cursor, but then nothing. What am I doing wrong?
