I've purchased an Aspire One for my daughter for Christmas. She travels a lot and I'm guessing some of the places she goes, she'll need dial up connection. So, I've been looking around for a modem. What I'd like to have is one that is small, plugs into a USB port, and doesn't cost a fortune. The stores seem to have them in the $50-75 range. Ebay has them for less. Does anyone know of a reasonably priced one that fits my needs? Is there any one of them I need to stay away from? The OS is XP. Any help in this regard would be much appreciated. I'd like to get this thing and make sure it works on her Acer before Christmas.
