Modemnot recognised by all USB ports

    I always thought that all USB ports were interchangeable, i.e. if you had loaded a device with drivers you could then plug it into any of the AAO's three USB ports and it would work. Not so my E220 modem, which will only run from the lefthand USB port and is not detected on either of the other two. Is this normal? Or is there a workaround so I am not restricted depending on whether I am at a desk, working on my lap etc.?
