On my desktop I edit audio files using audacity from sourceforce. I use it by connecting the headphone output of a tape recorder to the microphone input on the desktop. I can hear the the tape and record it simultaneously. That is the tape output is heard on the computer speakers. On the Acer, I can record the tape using audacity, but I cannot I cannot simultaneously monitor the input. Does anyone know how to monitor the input of the microphone input on the Acer?

Thanks for your help. Hope I made the problem clear.
