wonder has anyone had the same problem, I've tried plugging a monitor cable in to the AAO and into my plasma, windows makes the sound that you've plugged something in, but no combination of fn and f5 or f6 or any other f key will get the picture on to the plasma........yet when I plug my Dell laptop in and do the Fn combination it works perfectly..........anyone any ideas? should I look for an updated driver? I used the Acer ones when I installed XP over Linpus

    Thanks in advance

You have to press fn+ f5 + f5 +f5 (provided that you have acer launcher thing installed). fn+f5 toggles between 4 modes thus you have to cycle through them.

You can also make your laptop output image to your plasma by changing the configuration setting in the intel driver.

think that may be the problem, don't think I installed the acer launcher once I had installed the rest and XP was working, I'll try it later, thanks! :D

If it was me, I would prefer not to use the Launch thingie. Too much crap.

On your desktop, just right click (make sure you have the Intel graphics driver installed) then select output to -> monitor.
