Has anyone found a way to increase the volume control more then the limited control via the key board of speaker control next to the clock on task bar? The speakers sound like they can handle more power if they had more. Crazy I can' only listen to it now if I'm in a quiet room with the limited sound /highest volume set. I searched for this and only found guys/gals opting to replace the speakers to get better sound. I want more sound. Or enough higher volume for the average person to be able to listen to it in a normal places.

The only method which I have found was to use a set of Logitech V20 external USB speakers.

there must be some way, I agree it seems that the internal speakers are not being "maxed out". Is XP controlling the master sound volume?

If you want some real sound. I think you can try this - SRS Audio Sandbox. This improves the sound quality to max. In this software in advanced options you can found the limited setting & by it you can limit the options to max.

    Thanks,

check if your audio output is limited by the realteck software. There's a option in the mixer program which allows you to "limit" the audio output of the laptop.

Thank ...picture says a thousand words. Mine is and wasn't checked just like in your picture. I did just find that if I set the EQ in RealTek to Live the streaming website does sound better.
