I bought an Asus Zenbook UX305 last summer, August 2016, and recently had the motherboard fail, such that the computer can no longer boot up. This is really frustrating considering the laptop is barely 14 months old. Does anyone have a recommendation as to what I could do ?
    Thanks

What makes you think it's the motherboard that has failed - does anything appear on the laptop display when powering on?

If it's only 14 months and the motherboard has failed, I'd look at getting it fixed under warranty if possible - although depending on where you are in the world it may be as low as 12 months. Regardless, I'd still speak to Asus and see how much they'd charge to repair it, as it may be a reasonably low price as it failed so early.

Welcome to the laptop forums site

    As Ian has said

How do you know it's the motherboard that's the problem?

It's not that frequent for a motherboard to just give up.

Explain what happened before it stopped working.

There's many things that can stop a laptop from starting
