    Hi
Bought a Camcorder which uses SD Cards to record on .
Tried the play back on a Laptop running XP played back no Problem.
When I try on the Acer One different story. Media Master wont open the File. VLC opens shows the first frame then
just plays the Audio. Tried messing with the settings but not really sure what I'm doing their. Anyone have any ideas ?
    Thanks

Which version of VLC are you using (where did you get it - Acer updates, fedora repositories, through the macles guide or...)

Does mplayer or smplayer play it ?

Mplayer and media master are not the same program ;)
Actually no, now I tell a lie. Media master is a graphic shell around a crippled and dysfunctional mplayer.

Quite likely, yes. Which is why I suggested mplayer - it is supposed to be able to play it.
    See here for installation instructions:

Do note that you will have to perform the fedora-release and RPM Fusion steps first.
