Movies on DVD?

    I have an Ultrslim DVD drive using a USB + Cyberlink PowerDVD v.8 and it won't play a DVD movie saying
    I have to change the screen resolution to do so. Changing to the lower of the two resolutions available doesn't
    make any difference.

    Any ideas on why this Acer won't play a movie?

    i just played a dvd this past weekend using powerdvd 7.3... no problems here.
