    Follow this steps and click:
1.Bookmarks(on the top of the screen)
    2.Bookmark this page
3.A small window pops up. Type the name of the site.Click Done.
When you like to open your favourite, click at bookmarks and you will see it.Just click it.

No, I mean where can you see them - as a folder ?
For example for Internet Explorer it is C:\Documents and Settings\User\Favorites.

firefox 3 stopped using .html as bookmarks. i believe it saves bookmarks as a database file now.

you can either go into 'organize bookmarks' and export it as an html file or make a backup copy of the database file, or go into the folder where the database file is automatically backed up:
    \Documents and Settings\user\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xyz.default\bookmarkbackups\

i don't remember where firefox 2 saves bookmark html files, but look in the above folder as well.
