It`s my first time with linux, and i was doing ok so far. Have you updated the repositories as suggested here? That tends to get rid of a lot of dependecny errors.
Hi Defreeze VLC plays mp3 music files. The previous poster gave you a link to macles blog. You will find how to install VLC there, works for me. Best wishes
