msn

hi we have started getting a warning sign when we add a new msn account it says (invalid certificate chain. the certificate chain presented for contacts.msn.com is not valid) if anyone could advise us we would be gratefull many thnx.

 

Would love to know the answer to this, been using messenger for ages without any problems. Last couple of days can't log into MSN account, get the same message as you.

Help!!

 

I've also had this problem since yesterday! looks like the messenger program needs an update maybe? think its a customised acer one though?

 

Also getting this, any thoughts?

 

Same invalid certificate message, only happened in the last couple of days, been fine for months before this. Anyone got a solution?

 

I take it no word from ACER yet on this? It was weird because for a couple of weeks full support worked intermittently...

 

Had the same problem, but downloaded the Live update patch today and seems to have taken care of it.

 

I got this problem too! and also some times, when login, a message saying that only text chat, file transfer, are supported(did not tell any thing about voice chat and video chat)

Do you mean the patch on Acer communicaton suit?

 

I just went to the Live Update on the desktop and there it was

 

mine was the same just downloaded the latest up date and my messeger is ok now

 

I just installed the patch via live update, it works great now over broadband connection, but using the 56k connections, it's worse, it can't even get connected!

 

I had the same problem and fixed it with the update last week but i've just had the invalid chain message and theres nothing in Live Update anymore :x Suggestions??
