How come there is no information in the user manual about how to use the new features on the touchpad? Can anyone tell me about it?

I have the Acer Aspire One Windows 7 Starter 10.1" computer series D250.

    Thanks!

    Hi there,

That'll be because the instruction manual is pump!!

Basically it has two new functions, scroll up & down and Zoom In and Out.

Firstly, to scroll start with your finger at the top right hand corner and go straight down then curl round to form a circle in the touchpad. you'll then see a grey swirl for a cursor which shows you've done it right. Then, without taking your finger off the touchpad, swirl either clockwise for scroll down or counter clockwise for scroll up.

Secondly, to Zoom In put two fingers on the touchpad close together then diagonally spread them towards the top right and bottom left corners.

And finally, to Zoom Out do the opposite of zoom out.

It takes a bit of practice, but I find it extremely useful and I have big fat sausage fingers
