Hi, I successfully mounted a drive using cifs on linpus and listened to music wirelessly over the network fine for about a week with no problems. But now the music is cutting out every 10 seconds for about a further 10 seconds and then comes back on again repeatedly.

I would think its some kind of network issue but I don't know any diag tools in Linux.

    Any ideas?

Jeez, I'm such a pillock. Don't put your routers address as allowed in your firewall instead of the aa1's IP.

    Some useful tips:

To find your aa1's IP address - ifconfig THAT IS WITH AN "f"

You can also see packet errors with that command when the network drops off.

On your PC: netstat -no to look at current connections

Connection to the aa1 should show as ESTABLISHED and the address you found on the aa1 with ifconfig should show on the PC's netstat as the same IP address.

    cheers
