My 10.5.4 Install Progress

    I've looked at my AA1 BIOS (v.3114) and I don't see any option to turn anything off. The BIOS menu is pretty simple.

    Do you have a different version of BIOS where that is controllable?

    Sorry Hong, I spoke before I burrowed into the BIOS. The motherboards that I have used to install OS X had the option to disable hyperthreading.

    If the BIOS in the AA1 won't disable hyperthreading, you will have to use the command at the boot screen:

    -v cpus=1

    Thanks for clarifying it.

    Actually I put that in com.apple.Boot.plist so that I don't have to type every time.
