my atheros icon is missing

    the atheros wireless icon that usally is down in the bottom right is missing.i just bought a new aspire one and the new ones is doing this.my other one has the wireless icon to access the atheros program where you select your wireless access point.i cant find the atheros program in the start menu.i reinstalled the drivers from the esystems recovery and it just installs the drivers.someone please help!!

    You had a wireless app for the Atheros???? WOW I never had...(in windows) I just get the windows wireles icon... You lucky devil.... :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

    As I install all drivers through the Device Manager, I never run the "setup" files so I never get the icons as well.. :D
