My iPod isn't showing up

    Can someone tell me what I need to do to get my AA1 to recognize my iPod? I've successfully installed gtkpod, so I'm not looking for management software; I just don't know how to make the iPod show up. The iPod, when plugged in, shows me the "Do Not Disconnect" screen, so it seems like it knows it's connected to a computer, but the computer appears to have no such knowledge. Anyone?
