My sound is completely gone.

    The sound is completely gone on my A110. With and without headphones. It is not muted =) What might be the problem? I'm running the onelinux ubuntu.

    Might be that the volume isn't turned up on the appropriate devices, which is different from the device(s) being muted. I just run alsamixer from the command line and crank up the volume on all output devices, whether or not I think they should matter. It seems to work for me (running Fedora Rawhide)

    I have all volumes at max. Still no sound. I'm sure it has worked before and it works when I'm booting from a liveusb.

    This is kind of a total shot in the dark but you may want to try and reload the modules for the sound card.
