How do I get it back to normal? Dragging it is not helping at all.

Right click on the taskbar and unlock it. Try draging the edge down to the size you want. Hope that helps.

It is unlocked, and when I try and drag it, it makes it completely disappear. It doesn't take it back to its default.

Sounds like you may be trying to drag it too far it is very sensitive.

    Try this:
Left click and hold on the bottom row or dots (the dots to the left of the bottom icons)
Slowly and gradually, drag to the left or up or both, keep trying.
It's like some sort of patience test, I tried to work out the system but could find no real rhyme or reason. Try, try again and finally it all worked out

If and when it goes back to one bar (it is 2 at the moment) slowly and gradually drag to the left until the icons are in position.
Lock the Taskbar and never play with it again ;) :)

All the best, woz of oz

I think I see what the problem was. It was the quick launch. I have Vistamizer, which gives the look of Vista without having Vista. Once I took the quick launch off and dragged it down the normal way, it was fixed. Then I locked it and tried to re-add the quick launch and then it happened again. Is there anything other than vista mizer that I can use to get the look of vista, while using very little space, in which the quick launch would work?
