Need advice on all available upgrades for netbook.

Hi, I know this is an Acer forum, however I have an eMachines e250 Netbook and am trying to figure out what other upgrades I can perform. I have already installed 2GB of ram (which is the max) and Installed Windows 7 Home Premium. I have noticed an empty slot underneath, and beside the memory slot, and for the likes of me, just can't figure out what it is for? It has one spot for a screw on one end, and a connection slot similar to the memory slot only narrower on the other end. Thank you

 

based on what I've read and seen, your computer is an exact match for the acer aspire one d250. that slot houses a mini pci-e slot. You can put a 3g wwan card, a video accelerator card, a pci-e replacement wifi card. If you read some of the d250 threads, there will be a bunch of info you might find useful.
