Acer Aspire One Netbook would not boot up fully, so installed pen drive and went thru recovery management which all worked well.

I then did a Live Update and then re-started the netbook to be meet with a dialogue box and following message:

The network is not connecting to internet right now. Do you want to create a connection now?

Problem is that the mouse has frozen so can't click Yes or doing anything else?

Thought I would try and re-boot from pen drive again and that takes me into Recovery Management but screen asks me to hit "Next" button, however as mouse is still frozen can't do that?

Any one encountered such an issue and more importantly does anyone have a solution

    Thanks

The touch pad may be turned off. You may be able to turn on the touch pad by pressing Fn+F7.

    Hi Celtic_Warrior,
    1. What AAO do you have?
    2. What OS (Operating system) are you running on your AAO?

My first recommendation is to try and boot from a Live CD/DVD to see if it is a hardware or software problem. Of course this requires an external CD/DVD player.

Use the "Tab Key" to scroll down and then clik "Enter".
