I'm using netbook remix on Intrepid for the moment, but on Hardy the problem was also there. Maximus does maximize a number of programs correctly, but others don't open maximized or the window bar is still visible. Maximizing (again) does the trick, but it would be nice to see maximus do that correctly with every window that can be maximized from the moment it first opens, except for the ones listed in the gconf-editor. Am I missing a config file? or is it just because they are still working on it? On a certain moment pidgin did maximize immediately, but that behavior disappeared after an update.
