Netbook won't close completely

    The lid on my Aspire One will not close fully. It was like a cell phone, closed with the front edges touching and a slight spring pressure holding it shut. Just as I would think it should be. Now when I close it the edges are gapped aproximately 3/8 of an inch. It can be pinched shut, but re-opens to a default position with this gap. What is the problem and answer. Thanks

    Check for missing hinge screws. Look under the rubber. Assembly faults occur sometimes and if a screw was omitted it only takes a slight knock to cause a misalignment. A screw may also have worked its way out and jammed the hinge. :geek:
