What would be the best way to access shared folders on a network in linpus?

I've tried using the terminal and the mount command, it works but I can only access files in the shell. The mount point isn't accessible with the file manager, it seems the mount point permissions won't allow access.

The default installation on the One already has mount support for smb, it's possible to access shares with the terminal. The problem is the applications aren't able to access the mount points unless they are run from a root account.
