I installed onelinux on my aao and was suprrised to see how poorly the wireless radio functioned. The signal strength dropped from about 90% to 20%. Obviously all other parameters remained constant. I was only able to get a very intermittent wireless connection. It was so bad that I ended up reinstalling linpus. This is unfortunate as I had installed the Ubuntu OS in order to be able to use VMware which I cannot make work under Linpus. There seems to be a headers mismatch issue. The wireless functions extremely well with Linpus and for the life of me, I dont understand why it wouldnt be as good with Ubuntu. Anyone else had a similar experience?

Which version of Onelinux did you try? You refere to using Ubuntu if so which version did you try. I use Onelinux-beta-1 and it works for my wireless connection perfectly without any problems. However when Ubuntu came out with it's updates my wireless quit working so I went back to the non-upgraded version and then worked through the upgrades so I could get the ones that did not mess up the wireless and found that any upgrade that effects the kernel or lan messed up the wireless so I just installed the other ones.
