As far as i was aware you dont really need one. In the instructions it tells you how to restore back to factory settings at startup. It is something like ctrl and f10 at startup will start off the system restore.

The Aspire One XP models don't come with any recovery disks. I still haven't figured out why Acer doesn't include them (my guess is, as with everything, cost. They're too cheap to burn a dvd for ya). The Linux versions come with the recovery disks.

You can restore from a hidden partition on the hard drive to recover to like new condition.

If you need the disks, you can apparently contact Acer and get them shipped free ( ) or you can find a download for the disks which is what I have done, but I haven't tested them yet. (Torrent)
