    Hi,
Does anyone else with the new BIOS report faster SSD times? What other reasons might there be for upgrading from v.3109 to v.3114?

If you check the release notes there is no indication on anything SSD related. C4 gives potentially better battery life and less heat.

I also have an issue with the Wireless Card failing and recently updated the bios (also now running XP SP3 but same problem under Linpus). Seems that the card will simply disappear from device manager (or fail to connect).

Unfortunately I dont think the earlier bios is available.

You can backup the old BIOS. You cannot anymore obviously, but maybe someone else will.

I Use by mistake the 150 Bios instead of the 110... After reboot... the mouse pad was not working anymore, and I wasn't able to boot from the CD-rom drive... (My External USB cd-rom Drive was connected... but not recognized by the bios.) Lucky enough... USB Stick was still suported to flash again... with the 110 Bios.
I though they were the same... but it seem not!

I have reverted back to 3109 from 3114 and the disappearing wireless card problem *seems* to have been fixed...touch wood.

So for those of you running XP Service pack 3 with the A110 Model, I wouldn't recommend this bios at all..

    i flashed it

but there is again with this version a known bug from the earlier bios that was fixed in the previous version :

now the boot password and hard disk password must be typed with the shift key even if you wrote it lower case in the bios settings

this bug was fixed on the previuous version but it is now here again

so for this point there is again a problem

for the rest i have seen no change
