New Patch - 9/18/08

    There was a new patch today. The patch enabled higher resolutions for the external monitor. 1024x768 @ different frequencies. Unfortunately this just helps me partially when using an LCD projector; Because I still cant use the Multiple Monitor Feature in Open Office; not yet enabled.. Also when I chose to display in both monitors I was left with no option - 1024x600....... I hope Linpus/Acer can figure out something better..... :?

    I have just done the update for xfdesktop and now I can't use the launchers on the acer simple desktop but can still access the right click menu. I have the desktop switch so it is not a show stopper but it is disappointing as I do like to keep the standard look and use it every now and then!

    I think the desktop switch is actually the culprit here, since people without it seem to have no problems (I have them as well)...

    Then again, I prefer XFCE and its complete menu and fully functional desktop ;)
