    updated to the 170 version and seems to be an improvement in speed and connection....

    Soooo... What is the best? The official 170 (First Link) or the Modded 170 ? (Second Link)

    the modded 170 made my wifi recognized as AR5006X, but if I used unmodded it would be AR5007EG, so I guess unmodded is better. :D

    I'm having this issue with 170: when I boot the AAO, once everything is loaded in windows, it takes maybe 60-90 seconds before the network works. During this time, I don't have any network icons or nothing. Even if I go in start, network connection, everything is frozen until the network appear...

    Pretty strange.

    I've been using the unmodded 170 driver since a few days after my original posting, and it's working fine for me. I've only had my WIFI drop off once, and it easily reconnected.
