No audio devide in XP SP3

I installed all the drivers but im not having any audio device, tried to run the installation programas form the Drivers post (The Realtek one) several times but nothing , it installs but no audio device. Any clues?

For me it had to do with integrating the drivers into my nLite'd XP install that screwed all things up.
Beyond that I do recommend installing the drivers in the following specific order: Chipset > VGA > Audio

 

I reinstalled windows SP3 form another disc (the one i used was an SP3 RC2) and installed the drivers in that specific order. All runs OK now. Thanks

 

i had the same problem with sp3 black edition.

what i did was:
1-i got this hotfix: http://viceless.net/files/KB835221.exe
than i run this hotfix and then i run realtek high definition drivers again:
ftp://ftp.work.acer-euro.com/notebook/a ... 0.5628.zip

only got it to work at second try but...

works sweet ))))
