    Hi

Just had my Aspire One delivered today but unfortunately its not been the best of starts! First the battery wasnt holding its charge even after several hours of charging and also following intructions on how to discharge it given from the seller. They are supposed to be sending me a replacement battery in the post.

But now i've realised that my netbook has no audio. When i check the System Info in the Settings menu, it shows no audio device. I've just tried doing a restore with a usb drive and it hasnt solved the problem.

Anyone know a way to fix this issue?

Or should i just get the whole unit replaced?

    Thanks

Add: The error message i get is :

"No volume control GStreamer plugins and/or devices found"

Also could it be disabled from bios? I cant see an option when i press F2 and go in.
