This is nuts, but I just installed Windows 7 on my A0A150 Acer One and EVERYTHING works except the battery indicator has an X on it and when I hover my mouse over the icon it says "NO BATTERY IS DETECTED"!
I only use it when its plugged in! If i disconnect from power supply it will completely shut down! So i cant use the laptop anywhere but near a plug!

IM REALLY CONFUSED AND OUT OF IDEAS!

Funny but I installed 7 on my friends Gateway and im having the same problem! im sure this is a BIOS problem!

Im thinking that maybe the BIOS from the ACER ONE with 7 may rectify the problem.
Something tells me that the system is looking for the XP battery info and doesnt communicate correctly with the Windows 7 battery info! I really dont know but it sounds good! soundexplosion
